Spirit Shine Competition 2011 |

Alpena Spirit just finished competing at the Spirit Shine Celebration Competition in Birch Run! All the teams did GREAT - ALL WINNING 1ST PLACE! The Tiny's, and Youth had competed against a score sheet where an average score of 7.5 was required to place 1st... The senior's took the 1st place trophy competing against Cheboygan Xplosion and Crystal All-Stars! Below you will see the teams total scores:
Isabella and Zoie - Mounting Cheer-Dance Pre-K Division - 1st Place!
Total=447 Ave=8.0
Tiny Team - Mounting Cheer-Dance Tiny Division - 1st Place!
Total=475 Ave=8.5
Youth Team - Mounting Cheer-Dance Youth Division - 1st Place!
Total=488 Ave=8.7
Senior Team - Mounting Cheer-Dance Senior Division - 1st Place!
Total=474.5 Ave=8.5
Information about the competition:
Out of 18 performances for Mounting Cheer-Dance, Alpena Spirit Tiny Team had the 4th highest score, the Youth Team had the 3rd highest score, and the Senior Team had the 6th highest!
Out of 48 team performances in the AM session, Alpena Spirit Tiny Team had the 8th highest score, the Youth Team had the 6th highest score, and the Senior Team had the 9th highest!

On September 24th, 25th, and 26th we had a Choreography Camp where the Youth and Senior teams worked on new routines, and got new music for the 2010-2011 Season! It was difficult and a lot to fit into just 2 and 1/2 days - but it was also lots of fun! Click on the read more link to see more pictures from the choreography camp!
